PREPARATIONS AND FAQ:

  • Before applying, drink at least five ounces of water
  • Patience is important when using IceWave – You may need to try several placements before finding the right one for your specific pain
  • Wear IceWave no more than 12 hours a day, with a 12-hour break
  • You can wear up to two sets of IceWave patches at the same time
CLOCK METHOD
STEP 1 – Place a TAN patch directly on the point where you have the most pain.
STEP 2 – Now place the WHITE patch about two inches directly above the TAN patch. If the pain has not been reduced by 80% in 10 seconds, proceed to the next step.
STEP 3 – Move the WHITE patch from the 12 o'clock position to the 3 o'clock position. If the pain has not decreased by 80% in 10 seconds, proceed to the next step.
STEP 4 – Move the WHITE patch from the 3 o'clock position to the 6 o'clock position. If the pain has not been reduced by 80% in 10 seconds, proceed to the next step.
STEP 5 – Move the WHITE patch from the 6 o'clock position to the 9 o'clock position. If the pain has not decreased by 80% in 10 seconds, proceed to the next step.
If the clock method doesn't work, try the support method: Trial/Error
SUPPORT METHOD
Support position 1 – Place the TAN patch two finger widths to the left of the pain and place the WHITE patch two finger widths to the right of the pain.
Support position 2 – Place the TAN patch directly on the painful spot and place the WHITE patch on the opposite side of the body. Read examples below.
SUPPORT EXAMPLES:
HEADACHE : Place the TAN patch on the left temple and the WHITE patch on the right temple
KNEE PAIN : Place the TAN patch on the inside of the knee and place the WHITE patch on the outside of the knee
WHOLE BODY PAIN : Place the TAN patch on the bottom of the left foot at acupoint K1 and place the WHITE patch on the bottom of the right foot at acupoint K1.
FOOT CRAMP : Place the TAN patch on top of the pain on the top of your foot and place the WHITE patch on the bottom of your foot on the other side.
Rib pain : place the TAN patch on the front of your body at the ribs and place the WHITE patch on the back of your body at the ribs on your back
